DustMon F is an online instrument for measurement of the dust content in powders and Granulates. The DustMon F  is a new measurement system based on existing measurement techniques. The robust design guarantees the user a long life time with reliable results.

DustMon F consists of sample collector, pipe, sample feeding, injection, pneumatic transport area, light source and detector.
The sample will be fed by a Online sampler into the sample collector it drops down to the feeder and will be introduced into the feeding zone.

By injecting air into the feeding zone the fines will be separated from the coarse. The fines will be pneumatically transported into the measurement zone between the light source and the detector . Depending on the amount of fines, the light energy will change. This measured change is a direct indication for the amount of dust in a sample.
